Jessica
Hovis began working at West Financial Consulting, Inc, a Fee-Only
comprehensive financial planning and wealth management firm in
Huntsville, Alabama as an intern. After graduation she was hired
as a Financial Paraplanner. She now is a Certified Financial Planner™
practitioner and holds the Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor (CMFC)
designation. Jessica serves as the South Region Scholarship
Chairman of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors, a
nationally recognized organization that focuses on the advancement of
the Fee-Only Comprehensive Financial Planning profession.

Eric
McClain is a Certified Financial
Planner™ practitioner and has over 8
years of financial industry experience. He currently works at
Clark Financial Advisors, a fee-only financial planning firm in
Birmingham. Eric
serves as a Board member and Public Relations Director for the
Financial Planning Association of North Alabama. He is a Registered
Financial Advisor with the National Association of Personal
Financial Advisors and is a member of the NexGen group which
represents the next generation of leadership for the financial
planning industry. Eric also serves on the Board of Directors for
the Vestavia Chamber of Commerce where he chair’s the ambassadors’
committee. He is a Veteran of the United States Navy where he served
four years before his honorable discharge in 1998. Eric is an Eagle
Scout.

Ruth Brock
graduated from UA with a master’s degree in HES with a
concentration in financial planning. She is a Regional
Extension Agent for Alabama Cooperative Extension System, which is an
educational outreach organization that is part of Auburn University and
Alabama A&M. She travels around the state advising individuals and
groups on financial matters such as budgeting, saving for retirement,
estate planning, as well as other financial topics as requested. She is
a member of the National Extension Association of Family and Consumer
Sciences and Epsilon Sigma Phi. She and her husband live on a farm in
Ashville, Alabama.

Steve Chambers heads the ACCESS
distance learning program at Fort Payne High School. ACCESS is an
acronym for Alabama Classrooms Connecting Educators & Students Statewide,
which is a program that is capable of sending or receiving classes to
any participating school in Alabama. Steve is also in charge of
implementing the Junior Achievement program in the Fort Payne City
School System and served on the Fort Payne City Board of Education for 7
years. |

Tammy Gifford began working as a Financial
Services Representative at MetLife Securities upon completion of her
undergraduate degree. She hopes to
provide families and business
owners with assistance in building financial freedom. Tammy is a
member of the Calhoun County Chamber of Commerce. She resides in
Hokes Bluff with her husband David. |

Jamie Howell
accepted a financial planning
position at Bolen | Dodson & Associates, a fee-only financial
planning firm in Brentwood, Tennessee, after completing his
undergraduate degree. Jamie supports the lead advisor
throughout all phases of the financial planning process to include
meeting with clients for data gathering, using financial life
planning tools to help clients articulate goals and aspirations,
writing comprehensive financial plans, and portfolio allocation /
management.

Kim Guffey began working as a
loan officer for Citizens Bank & Trust in Trenton, GA after completion
of her internship and undergraduate degree. Kim, husband, and two
children reside in north Alabama. |
